Course Description

This component part of the Postgraduate provision focuses on a combination of an independent and mentor-led learning experience. You will respond to industry project briefs. You will engage in a mix of individual tutorials and group critiques with peers to discuss your approach to research, developmental processing of ideas, selection and editing considerations, to the execution of those ideas into making and the visual communication of them. The learning in this course focuses on investigative techniques, risk-taking, critical self- assessment, company visits and workshops with main industry players. The project-based learning will allow you to investigate ideas and test solutions in practice. Throughout the course, you will be supported to plan, develop, and complete your self-led development work. You will receive individual supervision and in-progress feedback to guide you through the course to success. This course will be delivered in blended modality. Wholly digital outcomes for projects and course assessment are possible.
